The Fostered Nest
A safe place to grow, dream, and belong.
Launching Fall 2025 in Philadelphia
The Fostered Nest is the official after-school program of Fostered Experiences, created to provide a cozy, healing-centered space for Black and Brown girls ages 12–21 from foster care and low-income households.
This is more than just an after-school program—it’s a place where girls can:
Finish homework in peace
Express themselves creatively
Explore life skills and self-love
Feel safe, seen, and supported
Whether through journaling, workshops, quiet time, or just being in community, every detail of The Nest is designed to help girls build confidence and grow on their own terms.
We’re Launching This Fall
We're currently securing a space in Philadelphia and preparing to open our doors once the 2025–2026 school year begins. We plan to welcome a small group of girls (6–10 at a time) into a warm, comfortable environment that feels like home.

The Why Behind The Nest
Fostered Experiences was born from a belief that exposure changes everything. As we work to give girls new experiences through travel and mentorship, The Fostered Nest brings that same care right here at home—every day after school.
Thank you for helping us create something special. We can’t wait to welcome our girls in.
